I am proud to call So. California my home, and am happily married to a wonderful and understanding woman named Kim. She and I are the proud parents of 2 adult children.
I have been involved with open source since the early 90s, and spend my days showing companies how to integrate open source solutions into their network infrastructure. This helps them to reduce cost and improves their overall network security.
My company, ACT USA provides shared, virtual, and dedicated server platforms to clients from our co-located equipment farms in the greater Los Angeles area.
I currently sit on the board of directors that oversees the So. Cal. Linux Expo (SCaLE), and participate in many open source projects and user groups.
I started this blog to allow me to preform what my wife calls “Mind Dumps”. Although I am known to be a bit technical, I try to balance my “Geek” posts with other more “Normal” information.
